Roger Turner Jr.

Roger Turner is also a co-founder of UpStream Productions and a Writer/Director originally born and raised in Petersburg, Virginia, but attended high school in West Virginia and credits the Mountain State as his second home. Roger first realized his passion for film by way of the HBO Original Series Entourage. Roger attended West Virginia University where he studied and received a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism, and was also a member of the West Virginia Film Club. Before graduation, he befriended Gary Murray and roommates with Dylan Murphy. While living together the two founded UpStream Productions in an effort to further enhance the careers of others with a drive for filmmaking. Since leaving West Virginia, Roger resides in St. Petersburg, FL where he works as a freelance writer, photographer, and videographer. He has worked with Bluewater Media Productions as a Production Technician, all the while writing, directing, and producing films with UpStream.
