Dylan Murphy is the co-founder of UpStream Productions and an actor born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Although he is fairly new to acting, Dylan has been a fan of film and theater since he was very young. His acting heroes are Bryan Cranston, Bradley Cooper, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. He first started acting in 2016 by starring in a short film called “Tick” for the West Virginia University Film Club while he was a student. In his Senior year of college, he met Roger Turner and the two formed UpStream Productions just before graduation. After graduating from West Virginia University with a B.A. in Communication Studies, he moved back home to Brooklyn to start living his dream of becoming an actor. Since then, he has studied at HB Studio under Trudy Steibl and David Deblinger and has also acted, written, and produced films with UpStream.
